Yes, we're registered.

For the longest time we were a little weary of registering anywhere.

As it is, we both have too much stuff and not enough room.

And while we have been gradually shedding some of our old possessions since moving in together, the desire for a larger space is hard to ignore.

Which brings us to what we both want most as a wedding gift from people: money.

We know it's a little uncouth, but it's the single thing that would be most helpful to both of us as we explore buying a house and try to build up a down payment.

Of course, explaining this to people has proven much more awkward than we thought it would be and being able to simply say "we're registered here" has become an attractive alternative.

So we registered at Target.

One week Left!

I can't believe we only have a week left until the ceremony. Things are getting pretty hectic around the house as we try and work out the rest of the details. We're both excited for our respective parties and I personally am excited about the honeymoon, though Jaspa still wants to be surprised and doesn't know where we're going beyond Miami.

I proposed to Jaspa a little over seven months ago, and we're getting married on the 18 month anniversary of our first date.

Time has totally flown by with her, which can only be a good sign. Before we know it, we'll be sitting in rocking chairs.
